The Islamic Republic of Iran annually exports some 15 to 20 million dollars of its flora and plants.
Addressing the inauguration of Tehran International Flora and Plants Exhibition, managing director of Parks and Green Spaces Organization affiliated to Tehran Municipality told that Iran annually exports 15 to 20 million dollars of its floriculture products which should be increase via using modern methods of production as well as boosting exports terminals.
Tehran International Flora and Plants Exhibition will play a key role in removing the problems facing the export of flowers and plants, Ali Mohamamd Mokhtari added.
Some 600 units are active in producing flowers and plants in Iran he said adding that the country should increase its share in the international market.
Announcing that some 30 companies from 16 various countries attended Tehran`s International Flora and Plants Exhibition, Mokhtari said that "The exhibition is a best venue for showcasing the capability of the Islamic Republic in the field of producing flora and plants," he said.
